We facilitate listings, verification, pickup/delivery coordination and dispute support. We act as a facilitator only — we do not own, buy or sell items directly. A small service or verification fee may apply for certain services.

Welcome to Giveasy — India’s trusted platform for buying and selling pre-owned items. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules that govern your use of our website, app, and related services. By continuing to use Giveasy, you agree to these Terms and our commitment to transparent, secure, and sustainable exchanges.

2. Who Can Use Giveasy ›
To use Giveasy you must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent, and be legally able to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate eligibility rules.
3. Creating an Account ›
Register with accurate, current information. You are responsible for activity on your account and must keep credentials secure. Report suspected unauthorized access immediately. Only one account per person is allowed.
4. Listing & Giving Items ›
By listing an item you confirm you legally own it and have the right to give or sell it. Listings must include honest descriptions, clear photos, and a truthful condition grade. You must comply with applicable laws and complete identity verification if requested.
5. Receiving or Buying Items ›
Buyers/receivers must provide correct contact and delivery details. Most transactions are final — inspect listings carefully. If an item is damaged, missing, or materially different, report it within 3 days of receipt via Giveasy support.
6. Product Quality & Verification ›
We verify item condition and authenticity where possible. Common condition categories: Excellent (nearly new), Good (used, fully functional), Fair (visible wear but functional). Undisclosed damage or fake items will be removed.
7. Delivery & Logistics ›
Giveasy partners with logistics providers for pickup and delivery. Delivery typically takes 2–5 business days, depending on location. Delivery charges (if any) are shown at checkout. Buyers and sellers must cooperate with scheduled handovers.
8. Giveasy Protection (Refunds & Disputes) ›
Eligible claims: item not delivered, item damaged in transit, or item materially different from description — reported within 3 days of delivery. Approved refunds/credits are processed in 7–10 business days. Not covered: change of mind or accurately described minor wear.
9. Prohibited Items ›
Do NOT list or exchange: illegal/stolen/counterfeit goods, hazardous materials, weapons/ammunition, adult/explicit content, expired/unsafe items, or anything infringing copyright/trademark. Violations may lead to listing removal and account action.
10. Responsible Use ›
Do not mislead, defraud, spam, harass, or manipulate platform systems. Circumventing payments or verification is prohibited. Misconduct can lead to suspension or a permanent ban.
11. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability ›
Giveasy is a facilitator. While we verify and moderate listings, we cannot guarantee every item’s condition or delivery. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to issues covered under Giveasy Protection and capped at the transaction amount.
12. Account Suspension or Termination ›
You may close your account anytime by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, commit fraud, or repeatedly receive valid complaints.
13. Governing Law ›
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
14. Changes to These Terms ›
We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continuing to use Giveasy after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
